OVIF: Trash Metal From Montreal, Quebec, Canada
OVIF is a thrash metal band from Montreal, QC, Canada. The band is a two piece formation (Erick Paquin & Jessy Bilodeau) who were part of the band Melodyact in the 90's. Session drummer Olivier Beaudoin joins the band onstage to complete the live line-up.

Some people are asking how do we pronounce OVIF and what does it mean???
OVIF is pronounced like "O" + "VIF" as in (What "IF" something etc...) and is a Québécois slang "au vif" meaning "À fleur de peau" in French. I haven't really found a proper translation for english. In OVIF's sense it refers to a state of mind which is always on edge & ready to react on the spot...or passionate to the last drop! The meaning can be positive or negative depending on the situation...
